The styles we teach and display include:

L.A. Salsa
A worldwide phenomenon. Salsa is a form of Steet Latin dance. With it's roots in Cuba, it has evolved over the years to become the most popular dance in the world. Ranging in pace from energetic & passionate, to smooth & seductive, it is a partner dance that incorporates a huge variety of turn patterns and flashy footwork.
Cha Cha
Said to have originated in Cuba, Street Cha is less formal than the ballroom style seen on TV. It is danced 'on 2' (ie: on the 2nd beat in the music) and is characterised by the triple step (cha-cha-cha) within the music.
Merengue
The national dance of the Dominican Republic, it is one of the easier Latin dances. The music is generally fast in beat and great to swing those hips to! Moves are executed slowly with much of the emphasis being on your hips. This style is great on crowded dancefloors!
Bachata
Also originiating in the Dominican Republic, this style is relatively new to Sydney. The music is very unique - very calypso in sound with a definite bounce. You can dance this as close as you want and again, the hips are very much the focal point of the dance.
Modern Jive
Originating in France, this is style is a simplified version of ive, and has been influenced by many different dance styles. Danced to all types of music it is a fun and easy style that will have you on the dancefloor in no time. Perfect as a wedding dance when you want something abit more modern than a Waltz.
Belly Dance
A traditional Middle Eastern Dance. This style not only teaches body movement but is also a great way to tone up. Most moves can be incorporated into your dancing thus adding a little spice to your freestyle!
